On June 14, General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered an important speech at the 19th meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Council of Heads of State, proposing to set up a Shanghai Cooperation Organization agricultural technology exchange and training demonstration base in Shaanxi Province.      

Hu Heping, Secretary of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee, visited Yangling demonstration zone on June 18th for investigation.  He emphasized that it is necessary to study and implement the important speech, give full play to Yang Ling's advantages in agricultural science and technology, build the SCO agricultural technology exchange and training demonstration base with a strong sense of responsibility, and make due efforts to deepen the exchanges between SCO countries.
