Recently, the national "Vocational Skills Competition for International Students in Agricultural Higher Vocational Colleges" sponsored by our college was successfully concluded, more than 80 students from 20 countries including Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Cambodia, Congo (DRC), Indonesia, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Myanmar, Vietnam, Congo (Brazzaville), Côte d’Ivoire participated in this activity.
With the theme of "Ecological Civilization and Modern Agriculture Development", the event received 142 entries, including 123 photography works of "Modern Agriculture in My Eyes" and 19 video works of "Me and My Specialty". After the evaluation by 13 judges from 10 colleges across the country, 72 first, second and third prizes of "Modern Agriculture in My Eyes" photography works, 12 first, second and third prizes of "Me and My Specialty " short video works, 58 excellent prizes of photography and video, 11 excellent organizational unit awards and 62 excellent instructors were selected in this competition.
There are 30 entries by international students in our school, among which "Modern Agriculture in My Eyes" won 2 first prizes, 6 second prizes and 12 third prizes,The micro-video works of "Me and My Specialty " won 1 second prize and 1 third prize.
During the 27th the China Yangling Agricutural Hi-tech Fair (CAF), the entries "Modern Agriculture in My Eyes" and the entries of the participating colleges were displayed in the booth of "Smart Agricultural Technology Integration Exhibition" of the CAF, which was well received by the participating experts and leaders.
This competition was strongly supported by all participating colleges, which further strengthened the exchange of international students in domestic agriculture-related vocational colleges, displayed the achievements of international professional talents training in China's agriculture-related vocational colleges, enhanced the influence of China's modern agricultural vocational education, and enhanced the exchanges between domestic colleges and international students' understanding of modern agriculture.
