On July 4th, 14 faculty representatives from Tashkent State Agrarian University of Uzbekistan successfully completed the modern agricultural technology training at our university. Jiang Pingjiang, Vice President of our university, awarded the completion certificates to the participants.
At the closing ceremony, 8 institutions including Tashkent State Agrarian University, Sirdaryo Agricultural and Technical College, and Yangiyul District No.2 Vocational and Technical College signed cooperation agreements with our university. Vice President Jiang Pingjiang expressed hope that taking this training as an opportunity, both sides would promote in-depth cooperation such as faculty and student exchanges and joint scientific research. Adilov Abdurazzoq Namazovich, representative of the Uzbek delegation and from Sirdaryo Agricultural and Technical College, spoke highly of the training results.
During the training, our university provided the Uzbek teachers with programs covering modern horticulture, efficient irrigation, smart landscape architecture, modern animal husbandry, and other fields. Adopting a "theory + practice" model, the training included special lectures on modern digital agriculture virtual simulation, as well as experiential and practical training such as grape pruning and water-saving equipment operation carried out at 6 venues including the Hydraulic Engineering Training Center and the Comprehensive Agriculture and Forestry Base. Experts from our university also conducted in-depth discussions with the Uzbek teachers on issues such as irrigation technology in arid and semi-arid regions and modern agricultural technologies.
