      About the Department:

　　The Department has 1500 students, 58 faculties, 50 teachers, 14 professors and associate professors;1 provincial teaching team, 2 provincially awarded teachers, 4 college awarded teachers.

　　The teaching equipments and assets are worth of 18mil Yuan. There are 3 labs and training centers: electromechanical equipment and automation, vehicle engineering and mechanical and machining training centers, 43 labs and practice rooms. Outside the campus the department has built 15 lab and training bases. The department also has cooperative relationship with over 100 enterprises, top among all departments.

　　So far the department has more than 6000 graduates and graduates’ employment rate remains at 98%. The collaboration with Shaanxi small hydropower station development center has trained over 4000 hydropower technicians.
