     About the Department:

 　　The Department has 800 students, 50 faculties, including 10 professors and associate professors, 1 senior experimentalist, 14 part-time teachers.

　　The teaching equipments and assets are worth of 18mil Yuan. There are 3 labs and training centers: electromechanical equipment and automation, vehicle engineering and mechanical and machining training centers, 43 labs and practice rooms. Outside campus the department has built 15 lab and training bases. The department also has cooperative relationship with over 100 enterprises, top among all departments.

　　So far the department has more than 6000 graduates and graduates’ employment rate remains at 98%. The collaboration with Shaanxi small hydropower station development center has trained over 4000 hydropower technicians.
